A Belgian court took a decision in a conflict between Belgian IFCS federation and one of its agility handlers.
\nIn February 2015 the federation\u2019s board notified the handler about a suspension for 3 months, including the participation to the World Championships
\nThe handler claimed this disciplinary measurement was taken unlawfully and irregularly so the case was taken to court in short procedure.<\/p>\n
A court in short procedures has the authority to investigate if a federation took the decision in line with its statutes, its regulations and the law.
\nThe conclusion of the court was that the federation failed to do so and that handler had to be positioned back in the situation as it was before the suspension and also urged the federation to fulfil the handler\u2019s entry to the World Championships.<\/p>\n
