IFCS new rules: no more collapsible tunnel

Just a few hours after other major associations announced the ban of the collapsible tunnel also IFCS published the change of rules:

The Cloth/Collapsible Tunnel (Chute) is suspended from use from the 30 August 2016 and will not be in use at WAC 2017 (Spain).

Other rule changes are:

A-frame

Lowering IFCS Maxi/Midi height from 1.8 (180cm) down to 1.7 (170 cm). Meaning that the IFCS now has one (1) A-frame height of 1.7 (170 cm) for all four (4) height classes of Toy, Mini, Midi and Maxi. Change takes effect from 30 August 2016.

Maxi/Midi Jump Heights

Old IFCS jump heights for Maxi and Midi Class:
· Midi – up to and including 500mm and jumps 550mm
· Maxi – no restriction in height and jumps 650mm

New IFCS jump heights for Maxi and Midi Class:
· Midi – up to and including 500mm and jumps 500mm
· Maxi – no restriction in height and jumps 600mm

IFCS Jump Heights for all four (4) Classes are now as follows:

Toy – up to and including 300mm and jumps 300mm
Mini – up to and including 400mm and jumps 400mm
Midi – up to and including 500mm and jumps 500mm
Maxi – no restriction in height and jumps 600mm

New Maxi/Midi jump heights (as above) are in force from 30 August 2016 and will be used in Spain at WAC2017.
