FCI rules state that when there is a tie in the combined results, a run-off is held over a third course.

For AWC2024 Intermediate a new course will be built with 16 obstacles.
1 white dog will run the course.
Both winners will be granted 8 minutes coursewalk and 15 minutes warm-update
The running order will be determined by the flip of a coin.
If both participants would be eliminated, the will run the same course a second time, in the reversed starting order of the first run.
If both participants would be eliminated a second time, both participants will be awarded the gold medal and title of World Champion 2024.
