Effective immediately UK Agility is suspending the use of the collapsible tunnel at all UKA shows.
Over recent months it has become very apparent that dogs getting tangled in cloth tunnels seems to be more frequently seen despite the introduction of straight approaches and exits. As an organisation UKA wants to be proactive and respond before a serious injury occurs rather than after. In the event that a safer design for the chute is released and tested, they will then re-evaluate the possible reinstatement of this obstacle. UKA would like to thank all the show managers over the next few weeks for their fast and positive responses to this decision.
